‘Government Indulging In Distraction Politics’: Rahul Gandhi On Apple Warning

‘Government Indulging In Distraction Politics’ Rahul Gandhi Reacts To Apple Warning

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi lashes out at government alleging that they are indulging in distraction politics referring to the Apple messages received by the opposition leaders while addressing the Congress Party briefing at AICC headquarters on Tuesday.

After multiple opposition leaders alleged hacking of their Apple devices, Rahul Gandhi said that initially he thought Prime Minister Narendra Modi came in first and then Adani and lastly Amit Shah. “But this is wrong, number 1 is Adani, number 2 is PM Modi and number 3 is Amit Shah. We have understood the politics of India and now Adani ji cannot escape. Distraction politics is going on…,” he added.

In Congress, KC Venugopal, Supriya Shrinate and Pawan Khera have received the message, Rahul Gandhi said. During the press conference, Congress MP also showed the copy of the warning e-mail received by several opposition leaders from their phone manufacturer and called it a “state-sponsored attackers trying to compromise their phone”. He slams at BJP by calling it as a work of criminals and thieves.

Rahul Gandhi also added that ‘Adani Sarkar’ can be removed by removing the current ruling government. “Adani ji is the symbol of the kind of monopolisation currently going on in the country”.  He alleged that the financial system of the BJP is linked with Adani.

“Gautam Adani was given the ports of India, Mumbai airport was given to him by using CBI and ED. They made agriculture laws to favour him. They are giving away the whole country to some of these people”, he added.

The Congress leader challenged the BJP government to tap his phone as he is not afraid referring that only very few opposition leaders has voiced out against hacking of their Apple devices. “You can do as much (phone) tapping as you want, I don”t care. If you want to take my phone, I will give it to you…”, he added.
