Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, who is on a visit to the Ladakh union territory for the past three days, shared some new photos with the locals and tourists from the region on his Instagram handle.
“Humble, endearing, and brimming with love, the remarkable people of Ladakh beautifully embody the essence of Indianness,” wrote Mr Gandhi on his social media handle.
Captioned as “Mohabbat Ki Dukaan” or “The Shop of Love”, Congress X (formerly Twitter) handle has also posted some of the images and they have already started getting traction on the social media platform.
In one of the photos shared by Mr Gandhi, he is seen sitting on the bike he used to ride to Pangong lake as he surrounded by people from the region. Other photos show the leader posing with locals and tourists in the background of mountains.

Before this, the Congress leader has already shared several images from his Ladakh diary, including a set of viral images of the ride he took from Leh to Pangong lake two days ago. The Wayanad MP paid tribute his father and former Prime Minister of India from the banks of Pangong lake yesterday, and he shared the images of the same to his followers on social media.
The Congress party”s use of the slogan “Mohabbat ki dukan” was successful in generating a lot of positive attention during Mr Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra, a five month long country-wide walk he took with his followers from September 2022 to January 2023, aiming to unite India. The journey covered 12 States and 3500 kilometers in 146 days and passed through states including Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Telangana, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh and ended in Jammu and Kashmir. The continuous use of the slogan by both the Congress party and Rahul Gandhi is seen as a refreshing change from the negative and divisive rhetoric that was often used by other political parties.
The slogan also helped to position the Congress Party as the party of love and compassion, which is an important value for many Indians.
