Candidates from Bihar got Group-D railway jobs in various zones without proper recruitment, allegedly transferring undervalued land in Patna areas to the family in return, as per a report by Bar and Bench.

The judge reportedly found enough evidence for trial on corruption, conspiracy, and cheating charges against the Lalu Prasad Yadav family.

The former chief minister of Bihar, Lalu Prasad, will face the trial proceedings soon, as he has been charged under the Prevention of Corruption Act as well as other IPC provisions, while his family members have been charged with cheating and criminal conspiracy.
