Mahua, a vocal critic of Prime Minister Modi has been a target of the ruling party since she has been attacking Modi-Adani nexus.
The strong and sarcastic reply of the now expelled Trinamool MP to the mass suspension of the opposition MLAs from the parliament invited many who are keenly watching the recent political development to the comment section. Expressing concern over the mass suspension, which especially started with the Parliament security breach, many worried about the future of opposition in the parliament proceedings.
The mass suspension followed after the opposition parties continued their protests, demanding for an official statement from Home Minister Amit Shah about the security breach in the parliament.
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge posted had commented about the mass suspension saying: “All democratic norms are being thrown into the dustbin by an autocratic Modi,” and the Congress leader Jairam Ramesh had termed it as “the murder of democracy”.
