Rahul Gandhi Alleges Adani Defence Rebranded, Resold Israeli Weapons In India
As Adani Group has been expanding its business into a global conglomerate, the group under Adani Defence, with a 500-acre plant near Kanpur, has been building ammunition. Notably, amid buzz over the Indian business group’s collaboration with Israel for supplying arms and ammunition to the Jewish nation during its ongoing aggression in Gaza and Lebanon, opposition leader Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday made a serious revelation that the Adani group had allegedly rebranded Israeli weapons and sold them in India.
The Congress leader showed the Israeli websites, explaining that the Indian business group copied and renamed them into Adani weapons and sold them to the Indian government. The video, released as part of Rahul Gandhi and Pawan Khera’s “Adani Bachao Syndicate” series, alleged that Adani Group has taken over airports, ports, cement, power, and defence sectors by monopolising them all.

Last year, there were reports that the Adani Defence and Aerospace would supply India-manufactured Israeli Masada 9 mm pistols to the Indian Army and that the group would start a manufacturing unit in Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur. The Adani Group signed an agreement with an Israeli arms manufacturing company for the supply of the pistols, ETV Bharat reported, citing sources.
Several users on X reacted to the video, expressing that they understood how Adani became a giant weapons seller in no time. “Watch to understand how Adani became a giant weapons seller in no time. No wonder there are no funds for Agniveer, pension, etc. because all the money is allegedly being bottled by ONE MIDDLEMAN,” wrote an X user.

Though the move was reported to be a part of the Indian government’s push towards the ‘Make in India’ campaign, an X user, Ankit Mayank, suggested that the billionaire copied the Israeli weapon website, renamed Israeli weapons as Indian, labelled them as Adani weapons, sold them to the Indian government, and earned billions of taxpayers’ money. “This is not just a scam but FRAUD WITH NATIONAL SECURITY,” he highlighted.

Notably, the opposition parties, the Congress in particular, have been alleging that the Prime Minister Modi-led BJP government has been supporting Adani’s global business ambitions.
