RG Kar Rape Victim's Mother, BJP MLA Baruipur Rape Different From Her Daughter's Case, Blames TMC Govt

Kolkata, West Bengal: BJP MLA and the mother of RG kar victim Ratna Debnath has reportedly distinguished her daughter’s case from Baruipur 12-year-old girl’s rape and murder case.

‘This rape case is different from my daughter RG kar case, My girl was in safe place however this girl was outside home, I don’t know where she was But it is all due to TMC Government,’ the MLA said.

Several slammed the legislator for belittling the rape of 11-year-old girl and blaming it on the previous TMC government, drawing severe online backlash from a section of the public. Debnath blamed the former TMC government claiming that they sowed fruits of the poisonous tree by encouraging gambling and alcohol among youth instead of prioritizing healthcare and education.
