The spiritual guide and mystic Sadhguru, aka ‘Jaggi Vasudev,’ joins OYO founder Ritesh Agarwal for Episode 5 of The Impossible Show, presented by Hindustan Times.

The series celebrates self-made heroes and extraordinary minds across India, and this latest episode claims to deliver a dose of insights about life.

In the newly dropped teaser, Sadhguru, the founder of Isha Foundation shares raw and reflective thoughts on everything from mental health and stress among entrepreneurs to the futility of glorifying suffering.

“Only when you are in a pleasant state of mind, your body and brain work best,” he says. “There’s a whole lot of your tribe, entrepreneurs, who think that only if you are stressed, you’ll think properly. Stress, anxiety—these things are becoming the new normal.”

The teaser also offers a glimpse into Sadhguru’s early life and rebellious streak. From not wanting to become an engineer or doctor to clocking over 60,000 kilometres a year on the road, he reveals a lesser-known chapter of his youth, and even jokes about being “stoned all the time,” naturally.

“If you think someone will give you a medal for your suffering at the end of life… all the best. I don’t want that medal,” Sadhguru said.

The full episode is set to premiere on Monday, April 21, across digital platforms. The show is presented by Audi, and co-powered by Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and Airtel Payments Bank.

Recently, Sadhguru has found himself at the center of controversy. A YouTube channel has accused Sadhguru and his Isha Foundation of serious misconduct.

The video, titled “Sadhguru EXPOSED: What’s Happening in Jaggi Vasudev’s Ashram,” was uploaded by YouTuber Shyam Meera Singh on February 24 and includes allegations of exploitation of minors within the foundation.

In response, the Delhi High Court ordered Google, Meta, and X to take down the allegedly defamatory video, stating that the content was based on “unverified material” and that its title was clickbait intended to draw public attention.

There have been multiple reports of allegations of sexual abuse within the closed doors of Sadhguru’s ashram.

On October 17, 2024, two former employees of the Isha Foundation alleged that their son was sexually assaulted by another student for three years during his schooling at the Isha Foundation.

During a press conference held in Hyderabad, they alleged that several emails to the foundation were replied to via WhatsApp calls. They claimed that it was “probably an attempt to not leave any digital trail” and added that the foundation told them that the accused boy belonged to “an elite family.”

While Satya N. Ragani, the father of the boy, was a former regional committee member for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Yamini Ragani, the mother, served as a former Isha Home School faculty member.
