While Working, Woman Stabbed To Death By Ex-Boyfriend In Punjab's Mohali office

Mohali, Punjab: While working inside the office, a former boyfriend and colleague allegedly stabbed a woman employee at a private company to death. The incident reportedly took place on the evening of June 4.

After stabbing the woman, the accused man also stabbed himself in an attempt to end his life, but survived. According to the police, the accused, 39-year-old Harjinder Singh Mann, also known as Harry, was reportedly in a relationship with the victim, 30-year-old Dimple, for more than three years.

The duo had worked together at a private courier company, where their professional association eventually developed into a romantic relationship. However, the couple ended their relationship some time ago. Harjinder was not happy with the breakup and had made repeated attempts to reconcile with Dimple. As his affairs did not work out, the accused got emotionally distressed in the weeks leading up to the incident.

On Thursday evening, the accused man entered the company office premises in Mohali. Soon after an argument broke out between the two colleagues, Harjinder allegedly attacked Dimple with a knife, stabbing the victim multiple times as some colleagues tried to intervene.
