Pakistan’s Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb Ahmed has gone viral after a media briefing when asked to explain Pakistan’s air capability in a common language. However, Pakistan’s deputy air staff chief barely explained it in a simple sentence.

The 56-year-old Pakistan Air Force marshal has been trolled online for not being able to explain his country’s air defence system to the media. Netizens have responded to his reaction, comparable to the situation in an examination hall, “when you get a question out of the syllabus”.

During a media briefing, while the India-Pakistan conflict was underway, the  Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb Ahmed was asked to explain air to surface and surface to surface neutralising defence system, the Pakistan’s air marshal took a pause and pronounced the air-to surface system in a gesture to recall. The pause has become a point of amusement in the media and the public.

To respond to the question, Aurangzeb Ahmed, insinuating its academic discourse did not comment on its techincal aspects and said that Pakistan is able to defend its air power against high speed long range missiles.
