AP TET February 2024 Result To Be Announced After Election Commission Clarification

Edited by Uzma Parveen

The Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) February 2024 result has not been announced on the expected date of March 21, due to the pending clarification from the Election Commission of India. As per the official information, the result will be announced after the clarification from the Election Commission.

Notably, ECI announced the Lok Sabha election dates from April 19 to June 1. With this, the Model Code of Conduct comes into effect which lays down a list of dos and don’ts for governments and parties. Recruitment via statutory bodies (in certain cases) and non-statutory bodies will require EC’s clearance. So, the state government requires clarification over the result announcement from the commission.

The AP TET exam was conducted between February 27 to March 9, 2024. The initial answer keys for Paper 1 and Paper 2 were released on March 4, 2024, and the final key was published on March 14, 2024.

The APTET exam is a way to determine the eligibility to teach in Andhra Pradesh primary and upper elementary schools. The APTET exams have two levels – Level 1 and Level 2. To teach in elementary schools (classes 1-5) APTET Level 1 exam has to be cleared. For upper primary schools (Class 6-8) candidates have to clear APTET Level 2 exam. Those who qualify for both levels will be eligible to teach in both elementary and upper primary schools. The 2 hr 30 minutes exam contained 2 papers of 150 MCQs each.

AP TET exam was conducted by the Commissioner of School Education and Andhra Pradesh (CSEAP) in an online mode. Candidates are advised to visit the official website aptet.apcfss.in regularly.
