CISF Recruitment 2024: Application Process For 1,130 Constable Fireman Posts
The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) released a notification for recruiting 1,130 Constable Fireman posts on August 21, 2024. The application process will start on August 30 till September 30, 2024. Interested candidates will be able to apply online via the official website – cisfrectt.cisf.gov.in – once the application process starts.
These posts allow for recruiting 466 General Category candidates, 114 Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), 153 to Schedule Castes (SC), 161 to Schedule Tribes (ST) and 236 for Other Backward Classes (OBC).

The Last Date of application and fee payment is September 30, 2024. The examination date and date of admit card release will be announced by the examination conducting body.
To be eligible, candidates must have qualified for Class 12th examinations from a recognized board. The age limit for applicants must be between 18 to 23 years as of 30 September 2024 (with age relaxation applicable as per the government norms).
The selection process will involve multiple stages including the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standards Test (PST), Document Verification, a written test, and a medical examination.
The application fee is Rs 100 for General, OBC, and EWS candidates, whereas SC, ST, and PwD candidates are exempted from the fee.

Candidates should go to the official notification carefully to see the state-wise vacancy details and other essential criteria while applying for the given posts.
The CISF Fireman written exam will carry 100 questions on general intelligence and reasoning (25 Q), general knowledge and awareness (25q), elementary mathematics (25q), and English/Hindi (25q). The total duration of the examination is 120 minutes.
