IBPS PO, SO Recruitment 2024 Last Date Extends To August 28
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has extended the application last date for the Probationary Officer/Management Trainee (PO/MT) and Specialist Officer (SO) Recruitment 2024 till August 28, 2024. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official IBPS website – ibps.in.
Earlier the last date to apply was August 21, 2024. The extension of the deadline is reportedly due to the high number of applications received or other logistical reasons.

The application process involves filling out an online form, uploading required documents, and paying fees.
The IBPS PO and SO exams are for those candidates aspiring to join the banking sector. The selected candidates will be given positions in various public sector banks.
The bank-wise vacancies are as follows: Central Bank of India (CBI) with 2000 posts, Bank of India (BOI) with 885 posts, Canara Bank with 750 posts, Punjab & Sind Bank with 360 posts, Indian Overseas Bank with 260 posts and Punjab National Bank with 200 posts.
The exam will be conducted in 3 stages – preliminary exam, main exam, and interview. The preliminary exam is scheduled to be held on October 19 and 20 and the main exam will be conducted on November 30. Interviews are expected to be organised in January/February 2025. The last stage will be document verification and a medical round.
