IBPS PO Recruitment 2024: Registrations Window Is Open For 4,455 Posts
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has invited applications to fill 4,455 vacant posts for Probationary Officers/Management Trainees across various banks. Candidates can apply through the IBPS official website by August 21, 2024.
The bank-wise vacancies are: Central Bank of India (CBI) – 2000 posts, Bank of India (BOI) – 885 posts, Canara Bank – 750 posts, Punjab & Sind Bank – 360 posts, Indian Overseas Bank – 260 posts and Punjab National Bank – 200 posts.

The exam will be conducted in 3 stages – preliminary exam, main exam, and interview. The preliminary exam is scheduled on October 19 and 20 and the main exam will take place on November 30. Interviews are expected to be held in January/February 2025. This will be followed by document verification and a medical round.
The preliminary examination consists of an English language exam, quantitative aptitude, and reasoning ability of a total of 100 marks. The main examination is for 225 marks with reasoning and computer aptitude, general awareness, english language, data analysis and letter writing & essay. There will be a penalty of 0.25 mark for each wrong answer.
Candidates must be 20-30 years of age as of August 1, 2024, with age relaxation provided to categories according to the applicable rules. The minimum educational requirement is a degree in any discipline from a university recognized by the Government of India.

The application fee for the General, OBC, and EWS is Rs 850, and for SC, ST, and PwD category is Rs 175.
