The State Bank of India (SBI) has released the notification for the recruitment of 6oo Probationary Officers. The online application process starts on December 27, 2024, and ends on January 16, 2025. Candidates can apply for the post on the official website of SBI at sbi.co.in.
To be eligible for the post, candidates must be between 21 and 30 years old as of April 1, 2024. They must also have a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university. Final-year students can also apply provisionally, but they must produce proof of passing the graduation exam on or before April 30, 2025.

The selection process for Probationary Officers will be done through a three-phase process. The first phase is the preliminary examination which will be conducted online.
The second phase is the main examination which will also be conducted online. The third phase includes a psychometric test, group exercise and personal interview.
The application fee for the post is Rs 750 for unreserved, EWS and OBC candidates, while SC, ST, and PwBD candidates are exempt from paying the fee. Once paid, the application fee will not be refunded.

- Download of Preliminary Examination Call Letters: 3rd or 4th week of February 2025 onwards
- Phase-I: Online Preliminary Examination: March 8 and 15, 2025.

It is mandatory to note that the Preliminary Exam Call Letter will not be collected at the exam centre. Instead, it will be verified and stamped by the exam authorities upon entry.
Candidates are advised to keep the stamped Call Letter and a photocopy of their ID proof safely, as these will be required for future reference.
