IB ACIO Recruitment 2025: Notification Out For 3,717 Posts; Apply From July 19

The Intelligence Bureau (IB) has released the official notification for the IB Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (ACIO) Executive Recruitment 2025. The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 3,717 vacancies. The online application process will start on July 19, 2025, and continue till August 10, 2025.

The recruitment is being held for the post of Grade II/Executive across various categories. Interested candidates can visit the official website of the Ministry of Home Affairs – mha.gov.in for the detailed notification.

To be eligible for the ACIO posts, a candidate must have obtained a graduate degree from a recognized university. The candidate must be between 18 to 27 years of age as of August 10, 2025.

IB ACIO Selection Process

The selection process of IB ACIO will take place through multiple stages –

  • The written examination
  • A descriptive test
  • Interview
  • Document verification
  • Medical examination

The written examination is consist of 100 objective type questions carrying 100 marks, with a duration of 1 hour. There will be negative marking of 1/4th marks for each incorrect answer. The descriptive test will be worth 50 marks, followed by an interview of 100 marks.
