SSC CPO 2024: Candidates Wait 16 Months For Results; 2025 Hiring On Hold
Lakhs of candidates are awaiting the results for the Sub-Inspector (SI) under Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Force (CAPF), and Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) posts under CISF, which are expected to be released after 16 months. Candidates are anxious regarding the delay in the result announcement and have started social media campaigns demanding the timely results.
Notably, the first stage of the computer-based test was held from June 27 to June 29, 2024, and the second stage exam was held on March 8, 2025. A total of 734157 candidates appeared for a total of 4187 SI posts. Candidates are demanding the announcement of the second stage result and further processing. No official update or notification has been issued by the SSC.
