JKAS Main 2024: Jammu And Kashmir Government Issues Circular On In-Service Candidates

In a significant move, the Government of Jammu and Kashmir has issued instructions to all Deputy Commissioners/District Election Officers, Senior Superintendents of Police, and Heads of Departments regarding in-service candidates appearing for the JKAS Main Exam 2023, scheduled to commence from March 26, 2024.

The General Administration Department of the Government of Jammu & Kashmir issued a notification, addressing the concerns raised by in-service candidates who were facing challenges in obtaining leave to appear for the Combined Competitive (Mains) Examination 2023.

The notification, directed to all concerned officials, emphasized granting leave to in-service candidates willing to participate in the aforementioned examination. It stated, “I am directed to request you to kindly permit the in-service candidates, working under your administrative control, to appear in the Combined Competitive (Mains) Examination-2023, which is scheduled from 26.03.2024 to 03.04.2024.”

This decision aims to facilitate the participation of in-service candidates in the JKAS Main Exam 2023 and ensure equal opportunities for all aspirants, including those engaged in various assignments, including election-related duties.
