UPSC Civil Services Exam 2025 Registration Deadline Extended Till Feb 18
The Union Public Service Commission has extended the registration deadline for the UPSC Civil Services Prelims Examination 2025 until February 18, 2025. Candidates willing to apply for CS (P)—2025 and IFoS (P)—2025 can visit the official website at upsc.gov.in. The decision came amid the technical glitches while filling out the online form, reports said.
The last date has been extended from February 12 to February 18, 2025. The correction window will open on February 19 and close on February 25, 2025.

As per the official notification, “The last date for submission for CS(P)-2025 & IFoS(P)-2025 has been extended till 18.02.2025 (06:00 PM). Further, the Correction window of 7 days shall now be available till the expiry of 7 days from the next day after the closure of the application window i.e. from 19.02.2025 to 25.02.2025.”
Candidates must create a One-Time Registration (OTR) profile. The OTR profile is valid for a lifetime and those who have already created their OTR profile can directly fill out the application form.
The application fee for the examination is Rs 100. Female/SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disability category candidates are exempted from paying the application fee. The payment of fee should be done in online mode only.

Step 1: Visit the official website – upsc.gov.in
Step 2: Click on the Civil Services Prelims link given on the homepage
Step 3: Create One Time Registration (OTR) profile
Step 4: login to the profile and fill the application form
Step 5: Make the payment of application form and click on the submit
Step 6: Download the confirmation page and save/printout for further use
