Purported Anti-Drug Organisation State President Sharfin Sebastian Arrested In MDMA Case After Police Found Drugs At His House
Pathanamthitta, Kerala: Police on Tuesday arrested a young man who allegedly claimed to be the state president of an anti-drug organisation in connection with a drug case. The police took the 25-year-old man into custody after seizing 1.590 grams of MDMA and finding drug use from his house in Pathanamthitta district.
The accused is identified as Sharfin Sebastian, was known locally as a campaigner against narcotics. Sebastian’s arrest occurred during a joint operation by the District DANSAF team and the Ranni Sub-Division DANSAF team under “Operation Toofan”, the state government’s anti-drug crackdown.
