On his return from Sharjah, officials last month arrested Satheeshan at Thiruvananthapuram airport. Police had earlier issued a lookout notice for Satheeshan in connection with the death of Athulya.
A case was filed based on a complaint from Athulya’s parents, who alleged foul play in their daughter’s death after she was found dead in her apartment in July.
Right after their marriage, the satheeshan allegedly subjected his wife to extreme harassment, including demanding and abetting a dowry right after the marriage. The family, apart from the latest video, also shared evidence, including audio clips in which Athulya is heard speaking about the abuse she was suffering with her friends and relatives.
