The accused lures women from Kerala, offering  lucrative modelling, beautician and fashion industry opportunities abroad. The victims later get trapped abroad, and forced into systematic sexual abuse.

Kerala: Sex Racket Luring Women With Fashion Jobs Abroad Busted; Victims Narrate Systematic Sexual Abuse

Kochi, Kerala: Kochi City police on Tuesday, May 19, busted a major international human trafficking and sex racket, revealing shocking details about sex racket luring young women from Kerala to Dubai.

Police arrested one of the key accused, Aleena Abraham, on Tuesday, and the Kochi police has constituted a Special Investigative Team (SIT) under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Ashwathy Jiji to probe the case. Police suspect the case to be a deeply entrenched trafficking syndicate with international links.

The accused 23-year-old Aleena, a model and native of Ponguvila in Thiruvananthapuram was arrested from a flat near Maradu police station. According to the victims, the accused lures women from Kerala, offering  lucrative modelling, beautician and fashion industry opportunities abroad. The victims later get trapped abroad, and forced into systematic sexual abuse.

The victim narrates horrific stories that once they reach abroad, the accused takes them to rooms where they get drugged, assaulted, confined , blackmailed and undergo sexual abuse. One of the voices leaked online says the accused gave them drinks laced with some drugs, making them fall half unconscious. Then the predators come and go, leaving them in defenseless and helpless state.
