"Party Is Supreme": KC Venugopal Welcomes VD Satheesan After Congress' Kerala CM Announcement
New Delhi: After the Congress high command announced V D Satheesan as Kerala chief minister, 10 days after the assembly election results, AICC General Secretary and Congress MP KC Venugopal, who was a key contender for the position welcomed the former Leader of Opposition.
Calling the party ‘supreme’, the Alappuzha MP said the Congress leadership had taken its decision after considering every fact. Venugopal said the matter would not trigger any issue in the party because, for him, the party remained supreme.
