After quitting Congress today morning, former union minister Milind Deora joined the Shinde faction of Shiv Sena in the presence of Maharashtra chief minister Eknath Shinde, in Mumbai, in the afternoon. Surprisingly, an hour ago before Deora joining the party, Shinde has said that he has no knowledge of Milind Deora joining Shiv Sena. “He is welcome if he wants to join the party,” he was heard saying in a video shared by news agency ANI.T
The announcement of joining the Shinde camp of Shiv Sena came after Deora met the chief minister at the latter”s official residence in Mumbai. The Congress veteran Murali Deora”s son earlier today announced his 55-year-old association with the Congress party, tendering his resignation from the Congress party membership.
Noting the reasons, Deora”s aides said that the leader did not get any confirmation about his political future within the Congress party, especially on his seat from Mumbai when the Shiv Sena UBT was openly making claims for the seat. However, the Congress party has been losing some of its young leaders over the seat-sharing talks in recent months
