YouTuber and Mismatched fame star, Prajakta Koli, tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend, Vrishank Khanal, in a fairytale wedding filled with laughter, music, dance and celebration on February 26 in Karjat.

Let’s meet the bride and the groom: Prajakta, a digital creator under the name MostlySane, an actor and a social activist; Vrishank, a corporate lawyer working at an investment banking company with roots in Kathmandu, Nepal. The couple who share an entirely mismatching description are perfect on paper with their similar personalities.

Their lives have been intertwined for a long time. The couple’s first meeting happened when Prajakta was 18 and Vrishank was 22.
On a whim, the casual meeting ended up with exchanging BlackBerry Messenger pins, which was the rage back then. As days passed, talking all day and night, the duo realized that there was something more than just casual chitchat. This is one of the perfect moments from the auspicious mehandi ceremony.
After 11 years of enjoying each other’s company and staying committed to the relationship, Vrishank got down on one knee in September 2023.
The couple exchanged rings in West Virginia, where they were on a camping trip. At the backdrop of a very scenic waterfall trail, Vrishank popped out the ring with the question. And then began the wedding bash.
Followed by a colorful Mehandi ceremony, next in line was the sunset Haldi ceremony. Set beside a lake view of Oleander Farms, the venue was decorated in a yellow and gold color palette, offering a warm welcome to the guests. Adorned in white and golden attire, the couple were blessed and brushed with haldi.
For this auspicious occasion of the marriage ceremony, Koli wore an ivory sharara with gota patti, which was beautifully crafted by designer Roze.
Complementing the beautiful attire of the bride, Vrishank dressed up in a matching kurta set.

On February 25, the couple tied the knot, looking forward to a lifetime filled with love and laughter. The wedding was hosted on the lush lawns under the shadow of a tree to symbolize life and growth.
Her wedding lehenga showcased Parijat patterns, aligning with her name, which is another word for Parijat flower. It also features Pichwai paintings and pockets and was rounded off with two dupattas and Anita Dongre jewelry. The groom opted for an ivory look to go with her gold lehenga.
In contrast, for the reception, she wore a stunning red Benarasi silk sari, gifted by the groom’s family, along with a traditional nath to honor her Maharashtrian roots. Vrishank wore a classic Nepali Daura-Suruwal.
