Babar Azam and Shaheen Afridi were commemorated by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Mohsin Naqvi for their special milestone after the second Twenty20 International (T20I) against Ireland on Sunday at the Clontarf Cricket Club Ground in Dublin.

On the other hand, Shaheen completed 300 wickets in international cricket, becoming the fifth youngest to achieve the mark after Waqar Younis (22 years and 117 days), Saqlain Mushtaq (22 years and 164 days), Rashid Khan (23 years and 265 days) and Kagiso Rabada (23 years and 285 days).

However, Babar did not have a good day with the bat as he failed to open his account. But Pakistan”s chase of 194 runs with 19 balls to spare left their captain elated after openers Mohammad Rizwan and Fakhar Zaman laid the platform with partnership of 140 runs.
“It”s a relief to be honest. All the credit to the batsmen for the way they are playing. At the innings break, we decided to chase in 18 or 19 overs. First 6 overs we lost two but Rizwan and Fakhar built the momentum,” Babar said.
The third and final T20 is set to take place on May 14 in Dublin.
