Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) owner and Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has penned a heartfelt message to his team following their final victory against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL 2024. Expressing his deep admiration and gratitude, Shah Rukh Khan mentioned all the main names from the team”s journey to IPL glory.

“To my boys…. my team…. my champs….”these blessed candles of the night” …. My Stars…of KKR,” Khan began, encapsulating his pride and affection for the team. He emphasised the collective effort, stating, “I cannot do a lot of things and you cannot do them all either…but together we manage most of them. That’s what Kolkata Knight Riders stood for. Simply being together.”

Acknowledging the crucial roles played by key figures, Khan highlighted the contributions of Gautam Gambhir, “Chandu”, Abhishek Nayar, Shreyas Iyer, Ryan ten Doeschate, Bharat Arun, Carl Crowe, and Nathan Leamon. He praised their guidance, leadership, and dedication, noting that the team’s success was built on mutual respect and collaboration rather than hierarchy.

Reflecting on the words of Gautam Gambhir, Khan shared, “GG said if u can’t support a single vision as a team….u are leading to a division in the team. Each player understood that.
