Premier Australia opener David Warner has donned many hats. Besides being a prolific batter, the Delhi Capitals opener has displayed his acting skills in various reels on Instagram. Thanks to his entertainment skills, CRED signed him up for a new ad shoot that also featured the ‘RRR’ movie director S.S Rajamouli.
The ad talks about financing in its usual amusing way with the director asking Warner for a discount on his match tickets. In response, the opener says that he will get a cashback if he uses CRED UPI. The ad further shows Rajamouli directing Warner in various mythological roles. However, Rajamouli gets frustrated with Warner’s antics and decides to upgrade to CRED UPI.

The ad earned plenty of reactions from the cricket fans, with many suggesting that Warner should be given Indian citizenship and he is better than a lot of Bollywood actors.
“Somebody give David bhai an Aadhar Card,” a fan said.
“still a better actor than arjun kapoor,” another fan said.
“All the Bollywood Directors Please look at the Talent . Its here Warner Bhai Great,” a third fan said.
Warner, incidentally, took time out for his IPL 2024 schedule for the CRED ad shoot. His form has slumped in the last few matches with the scores of 10 and 18 in the last two games. The Australian started his IPL 2024 campaign with 29 runs against Punjab Kings and then notched up the scores of 49 and 52.
