Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) co-owner Shah Rukh Khan encouraged Rishabh Pant, who made a comeback in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 after a fatal road accident, in a light-hearted meeting after his franchise clinched a massive 106 runs victory at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam on Wednesday.
The KKR co-owner was present at the stands along with his manager Pooja Dadlani. He walked on the ground after his team”s victory and met Pant. The duo shared a hug as the Bollywood superstar was seen encouraging the Delhi Capitals captain by whispering his thoughts into his ears and with some motivational gestures.

Pant has displayed his determination to get amongst the runs in the ongoing season. He scored 55 runs off 25 deliveries, laced with four boundaries and five hits over the top in his side”s daunting chase of 273 runs.
Pant was well supported by Tristan Stubbs who notched up 54 runs off 32 deliveries. But their knocks was not enough to challenge KKR after their brilliant batting display. It was also one of the biggest wins for KKR by margin of runs.
“We were just all over the place (with the ball), we could have done better, and it is one of those days I feel. As a batting unit, we talked about going hard (after the target) and that”s how we approach these games because it is better to be all-out trying to go for the total than not chase it down,” Pant conceded after the match.
