Former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan expressed his concern for the killing of children in Gaza through a social media post he shared on his handle X. He urged the world leaders to unite and put an end to the senseless killings of innocent souls in Gaza.
“Every day, innocent kids aged 0-10 in Gaza are losing lives and the world remains silent. As a sportsman, I can only speak out, but it”s high time for world leaders to unite and put an end to this senseless killing,” he wrote on X.

In the post he shared, Irfan Pathan tagged United Nations official handle. But the cricketer kept the comment section closed for the post.
Pathan is the first among Indian cricketers to speak publicly on the Israel-Palestine war.
Celebrities across the world from various field are seen expressing their perspective regarding the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas.
While, Pakistan former cricketer Danish Kaneria reacted to Irfan’s post on Gaza and asked him to speak about Pakistani Hindus as well.
“Irfan bhai, I”m happy that you understand the pain of children, and I stand with you on that. But please do speak about Pakistani Hindus as well. The situation is not very different here in Pakistan,” he wrote on X.

An X user pointed out that how the cricketer was concerned about the Gazan children while he remained calm on October 7 referring to the Hamas attack on Israel.

While another netizen lashed out for keeping the comment section off and said ” he know he is not right”.
Irfan Pathan waited for the right moment. He trolled Pakistan multiple times so that he can gain sympathy and get people to like him more.

Meanwhile, in Gaza, Israel’s heavy bombardment intensifies, targeting schools, shelters, hospital areas and ambulances. The recent attack on an ambulance convoy has killed at least 15 people, according to the health ministry. A convoy of ambulances transporting the wounded patients from the Al-Shifa hospital to the Al Rafah border was targeted.
So far more than 9,227 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza, including women and children since October 7. While, at least 24 Israel soldiers were killed since ground operations began in Gaza.
