
Kevin De Bruyne To Leave Manchester City At End Of Season
Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne has confirmed that he will leave the club at end of the current season. Announcing his decision on his social media platform on Friday, the player said that every story comes to an end, stating, “this has definitely been the best chapter.”
“We cannot thank the city, club, staff, teammates, friends, and family enough for this 10-year ride” the footballer wrote on Instagram.

The Belgian international player, who is arguably the Premier League’s one of the best midfielders of all time, joined City after his stint in German club Wolfsburg in 2015. In the span of ten seasons he boasted of an impressive number of 106 goals and 174 assists in 413 appearances for the English side.
In his very first season he was voted the club’s best player of the season, scoring 16 goals and assisting 15. The 33-year-old will be remembered as a key player of City’s golden era under Pep Guardiola, where they won 16 major trophies, including six Premier League titles and one UEFA Champions League.

However, the midfielder was struggling after sustaining injuries recently. He paused contract negotiations while recovering from the tears.
