Pakistan have unveiled the fixture list for a busy home and away international season for 2024-25. Bangladesh, England and West Indies are set to travel to Pakistan to play seven Tests in total, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced on Friday, 5 July.

In addition, Pakistan will host an ODI tri-series with New Zealand and South Africa in preparation for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, which will be held at home.

Pakistan will also travel overseas to Australia, Zimbabwe and South Africa to play nine ODIs and as many T20Is to go with two Tests. All the Test matches will be part of the World Test Championship 2023-25 cycle, where Pakistan currently sits in 5th place with a points percentage of 36.66.

Pakistan’s home season kicks off in August with a two-Test series against Bangladesh, followed by a three-Test series against England in October.

The West Indies will conclude the Test matches of the home season with a two-Test series in January, before attention turns to the Champions Trophy with an ODI tri-series featuring New Zealand and South Africa. Away from home, Pakistan faces a hectic three-month period in November, December and January. They will travel to Australia and Zimbabwe to play three ODIs and three T20Is each.

Following these tours, Pakistan will head to South Africa for an all-format series, which includes a Boxing Day Test at Centurion. Pakistan’s home season kicks off in August with a two-Test series against Bangladesh, followed by a three-Test series against England in October.

“The visits by five top cricket playing nations in the lead-up to the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, followed by seven countries participating in the event proper over the next eight months, also highlight Pakistan’s standing and stature in international cricket. We deeply value the participation of these teams and players, who will bring immense talent and competitive spirit to our fields.”
