Sania Mirza Shares Glimpses From Her Hajj, Says “Journey Of A Lifetime”
Tennis icon Sania Mirza had embarked on a spiritual journey last month. The former Indian tennis player has now shared glimpses of her Hajj journey with a series of heartwarming pictures on Instagram.
Sania Mirza had traveled to perform the annual Hajj pilgrimage. Hajj is an annual pilgrimage to Makkah. Sharing the pictures on Instagram, she wrote, “To say I had a journey of a lifetime is putting it mildly .. it was an experience for my body and soul like I could have never even imagine”.

Sania Mirza had gone for the Hajj along with her sister Anam and her father Imran. Before setting off on this journey, Sania shared a heartfelt note on Instagram, concluding it with, “I hope to return as a better human being with a humble heart and stronger imaan.”
Even though Sania was busy with her Hajj, there was wide speculation that the tennis icon would marry Indian cricketer Mohammed Shami. However, rubbishing the rumor, Imran spoke to NDTV and said, “ This is all rubbish. She has not even met him”.
Sania and Shoaib married in 2010 and have a son named Izaan. Sania announced their separation in January this year when Shoaib married actor Sana Javed.

Last year, after announcing her retirement from tennis, Sania along with her close ones went to Makkah to perform Umrah.
