As the Allianz Arena in Munich lit up brighter than ever on Saturday night with the historic PSG win, the iconic former UFC Lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov stepped into the spotlight — the vibrant turf of the Champions League Final. Apart from witnessing the PSG’s memorable 5-0 triumph against Inter Milan, he added his own version by engaging in a playful bout with the famous American streamer IShowSpeed.

Apart from Khabib and IShowSpeed, Kate Scott, Thierry Henry, Jamie Carragher, and Micah Richards were present. Though both the duo seem like being from an alternate universe, the exchange they produced has gone viral on social media. What began as a small chat later led to the unexpected viral moment when Khabib joked about Speed’s football ability. “I’m gonna be humble. I think (IShowSpeed) is better than me (in) running, but football IQ? I’m much better,” he said.
However, Speed, not ready to back down, responded quickly, “I have seen the clip where you play football, it wasn’t the best, I’ll be honest, and my skill level is better.” And then came the lit response line from the Champion, “Don’t forget, between us is nobody right now. Now you in my world, understand? But you can talk, freedom (of) speech.”
The conversation took a humorous twist when the host misinterpreted Khabib’s comment about catching a flight as a call to arms. Clarifying with a chuckle, Khabib said, “No more fight.” Khabib had retired from mixed martial arts in 2020. However, he didn’t let the comment pass on. With a glint of a smile, he said, “Maybe if this guy is gonna talk too much, maybe we gonna fight tonight.”

IShowSpeed immediately, undeterred, responded, “Hey, Khabib, I never back down. I never back down.” The delightful exchange served as a reminder of Khabib’s magnetic charm, blending his enduring love for soccer with his indomitable fighting spirit.
