Since everyone is buzzing with excitement about the launch of the iPhone 16, Apple is anticipated to unveil the new series in September which means we are just one month away from witnessing the extravaganza. The company hasn’t spilt the beans yet on the specifications or designs, but rumours have been reverberating here and there whirling with details of the phone which will debut its 16 series.

As per MacRumors, the 2024 iPhone lineup is expected to be launched in four exquisite models iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max with a larger display unwrapped than ever in Apple’s smartphone chronicle.

The base model would feature a vertical camera arrangement, with the surface raised in a pill shape instead of the previous diagonal set-up. The new camera comes with two separate rings that the vertical yet sleek design may enable Spatial Video Recording.

The new models will be equipped with A-18 chips as the Apple Intelligence gears up to debut in the iOS 18. Since it requires a high-powered chip to run on the phone, the AI features are available on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone Pro Max this time along with the new series. For the Pro and Pro Max models, the company is anticipated to use Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon X75 modem only for iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max.

The new series will support 40W wired fast charging and 20 W MagSafe charging for its Pro and Pro Max versions, as per the leaks. A significant upgrade to the microphone with an enhanced Siri experience is going to be another highlight in the 16 series. Additionally, the phone storage will be increased from 1TB to 2 TB for iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max models.

The much-awaited series will be available in 5 different colours Black, Silver or White, Gray, Rose and Natural Titanium for Pro and Pro Max models. The Blue Titanium colour for the current  15 Pro may have been said to be discontinued and will be replaced with a rose colour. The base model and iPhone 16 Plus are set to astound you in Green, Black, Blue, Pink and White.
