Days ahead of the Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung announced a major price cut for last year”s Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Plus. The company has slashed the price of both smartphones by Rs 10,000 in India. During the Galaxy Unpacked event on January 14, Samsung is expected to announce the highly anticipated next-generation Galaxy S24 series with Galaxy AI features.
After the latest price cut, the Samsung Galaxy S23 is now available at Rs. 64,999 for the base 8GB RAM + 128GB storage option, and the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is currently priced at Rs. 69,999. To recall, the Galaxy S23 was announced in India with a starting price tag of Rs. 74,999 for the base variant. On the other hand, the base variant of the Galaxy S23 Plus with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage is currently available for Rs 84,999. The 8GB RAM and 512GB storage variant of the Galaxy S23 Plus is now available for Rs. 94,999. The 256GB variant of the S23 Plus was launched in the country with a price of Rs. 94,999. Both devices are powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. Notably, these devices with new prices are listed on Samsung’s online store, Amazon, and Flipkart.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy Unpacked event will take place at the SAP Center in San Jose, United States, on January 17. AI features are said to be the main attraction of the upcoming Galaxy S24 series, consisting of the Galaxy S24, S24 Plus, and S24 Ultra. According to Samsung, the “new Galaxy S series will set a higher standard for the most intelligent mobile experience yet.” Also, Samsung”s Galaxy AI is set to play a big role in the Galaxy S24 lineup.
