Samsung introduced the budget-friendly Galaxy A9 series tablets in India. The Galaxy Tab A9 Series lineup consists of the Galaxy Tab A9 and Tab A9+. Samsung claims that the new Tab series combines immersive video and audio with hyper-fast connectivity.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A9, which features an 8.7-inch LCD display, is available in both Wi-Fi and LTE. Both versions are equipped with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. On the other hand, the Galaxy Tab A9+, with an 11-inch LCD display and 90Hz refresh rate, is available in 4GB+64GB and 8GB+128GB variants. The starting price of the Galaxy Tab A9 is Rs 12,999, and the Tab A9+ pricing starts at Rs 18,999. The company said that these devices offer the largest screens of any Galaxy A series tablet yet. The series comes in three colour options. This includes graphite, silver, and navy.

While the Tab A9 features a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, the Galaxy Tab A9+ is powered by the Snapdragon 695 processor. Samsung said in its official statement that the Galaxy Tab A9 and A9+ offer exceptional performance and speed for users. In terms of camera specifications, the Tab A9 has an 8 MP rear camera and a 2 MP front camera. The Tab A9+ is equipped with 8MP and 5MP rear and front cameras. While the Tab A9 houses a 5,100 mAh battery, the Tab A9+ has a 7,040 mAh battery with 15W charging. The Tab A9+ also offers quad speakers enhanced by Dolby Atmos. “With the latest Galaxy Tab A series release, we’re making it easier than ever for all to enjoy great entertainment and productive multitasking across the entire Galaxy ecosystem,” said TM Roh, President and Head of Samsung Electronics’ Mobile eXperience Business, in a statement.
