Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha and senior Congress leader and Rahul Gandhi, while addressing a poll rally in Jammu and Kashmir’s Sangaldan on Wednesday, said that the opposition has already psychologically defeated Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He claimed that PM Modi has lost his confidence after the recent Lok Sabha elections after the Mahagathbandhan of the INDIA bloc challenged the BJP. Gandhi said that he will no longer be in power.
“We have finished Modi psychologically. I sit in front of him in Parliament and I know his confidence is gone… Now a little time has left, we will remove Modi and BJP from government,” said Gandhi.
Defying the exit polls that predicted a clean sweep for BJP with 300-400 seats, the saffron party was far from its ‘400 paar’, and could only win 240, short of 32 seats required to the majority. The BJP had to depend on its allies to form the government.
