Israel continues to airstrike all parts of Gaza strip and the Israel military has increased overnight raids across occupied Gaza. A strike in the Nuseirat refugee camp on Wednesday killed several families including the family of Al Jazeera Journalist, Wael Dahdouh. It has been reported that he has lost his wife, son and grandson in the Israel air raid.

In a video aired on the Qatar based broadcaster, the journalist is seen entering the Al Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir el-Balah to see his dead family and seen touching his 15-year-old son, Mahmoud’s face one last time who wished to be a journalist like his father.

According to Al Jazeera, Dahdouh’s son Yehia who was injured in the airstrike had to undergo emergency procedure to staunch a serious wound to his head in the hospital corridor. The doctors had to use non-surgical thread to stitch the wound as they were unable to find an appropriate instrument.

Health facilities are doing there best to treat the wounded in Gaza but they are running out of fuel and basic medical supplies. The UN has warned that Gaza is at the verge of running out of fuel, forcing it to sharply curtail relief efforts in the blockaded territory. While, Russia led UN Security Council resolution calling for a ceasefire in the Gaza strip failed again to address the Israel-Hamas war.

The European Union leaders on Thursday will hold a meeting which will center on the call for a “humanitarian pause” in Israel’s war with Hamas. Japan’s Foreign Minister Yoko Kamikawa has met with Israeli Ambassador to Japan Gilad Cohen to extend Tokyo’s request for a temporary suspension of fighting in Gaza.

Majed Bamya, the deputy representative of the State of Palestine to the UN, on Thursday expressed his unending grief and anger through a social media post. He wrote on X “How do you survive a death that does not kill you while killing everything that makes you who you are?”.

Isarel continues with arrests and raids across the occupied West Bank. A series of raids were also reported in the city of Nablus in the north of the occupied West Bank. Dozens of heavily armed Israeli soldiers were seen storming the Shuafat neighbourhood, as nightly raids targets residents across the Palestinian territories.

While US President once again made a controversial comment regarding the on-going genocide. He said he has no confidence in the number that Palestinians are using. The health ministry has recently announced that over 6,500 have been killed in the Israeli airstrike.

“I have no notion that the Palestinians are telling the truth about how many people are killed. I’m sure innocents have been killed, and it’s the price of waging a war,” Biden said.
