Bahrain's Defence Force Preparing For Potential Ground Invasion From Iran
Manama, Bahrain: Bahrain’s Defense Force is reportedly preparing for a potential ground invasion from Iran. Bahrain, along with GCC allies, aired footage of soldiers to show strength.
An Iranian national security expert recently warned of a potential coastal invasion of Bahrain and the UAE if the US strikes Tehran. The UAE and Bahrain, two of the major hosts of the US military forces in the region, are intercepting missiles and drones fired from Iran. Both countries have suffered fatalities and structural damages from the Iranian attacks.
Bahrain hosts the US 5th Fleet and relies on partners like Saudi Arabia for defense. The Iranian analyst’s statement mentioned the capability of Iran’s military forces to launch coastal invasions of the UAE and Bahrain if the United States makes a mistake in the region, and the same was aired on Iranian state television.
Iran has said that over a million troops are ready for battle amid reports of possible ground invasion and the US’s deployment of additional forces in the region.
