For private sector, Eid-ul-Fitr holidays will begin from March 30, Sunday and continue till April 1. If Ramadan completes 30 days, the holidays will be extended till April 2.

Dubai Announce Free Parking And Extended Public Transport Services During Eid Holidays

Dubai: Ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr holidays, Road and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai has announced that all public parking in the emirate will be free of charge during the Eid-al-Fitr holidays, except for the multi-level parking terminals. The free parking period will begin from Shawwal 1, which is the Eid-ul-Fitr day, to Shawwal 3. The paid parking service will resume on Shawwal 4 onwards.

Dubai metro has too extended its services during Eid. Both Red and Green Line stations will operate as follows: On March 29, the metro will operate from 5 am to 1 am, on March 30, from 8 am to 1 am, and from March 31 to April 2, from 5 am to 1 am.

The Dubai tram operation time is as follows: Saturday to Monday, March 29 to 31, from 6 am to 1 am (next day). On Sunday, March 30, tram services will start at 9 am and continue until 1 am (next day).

Bus Route E100 from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station will be out of service from the afternoon of 28 Ramadan until 3 Shawwal. During this period, passengers are advised to use Route E101 from Ibn Battuta Bus Station to Abu Dhabi. Additionally, Route E102 will be suspended from 28 Ramadan until 3 Shawwal.

Moreover, the Customer Happiness Centres and vehicle testing centres will also observe holiday closures. However, Smart Customer Centres in Umm Ramool, Deira, Al Barsha, Al Kifaf and RTA headquarters will remain operational for 24 hours.
