
Rising Temperature Expected In UAE During Eid Holidays
United Arab Emirates Meteorological Department has announced that the nation’s temperature may surge during the start of the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays, marking the beginning of approaching summer. The National Centre of Meteorology said temperature would reach 34 degrees Celsius in Abu Dhabi and 33 degrees Celsius in Dubai on Saturday.
Similar weather forecast is expected on Sunday as well. The weather office said that the temperature would rise to 37 degrees Celsius in the capital and 36 degrees Celsius in Dubai on Monday, which is expected to be the first day of Eid-ul-Fitr. However, the country had experienced a cooler at the beginning of the week, with the mercury dropping as low as 6.4 degrees Celsius around Jebel Jais in Ras Al Khaimah.

However, the National Centre of Meteorology on Wednesday said that as the wind dies down, temperatures would gradually increase, leading up to the weekend and the start of a public holiday for workers.
“Northwesterly winds will start decreasing,” an NCM forecaster told The National. “The temperatures will increase gradually over the next five days. There will be less wind, so it will be hotter.”
On Thursday, the temperature had hovered around 15 degrees Celsius in the morning, with highs of 28 degrees forecast.

In UAE, March is considered to be the final month of winter. And thus, the transition in weather would bring in unstable climate conditions, that is changing several times within 24 hours. In several parts of the country, red and yellow fog alerts were issued. According to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), red and yellow fog alerts were issued over Jabal Ali, Emirates Road and Al Minhad in Dubai, over Razeen, Arjan, Ajban regions in Abu Dhabi, and over Ni’mah Street in Al Ain, and over Al Ain and Abu Dhabi road.
