Iran Military Says It Targeted US Base In Jordan Hosting F-35, F-15, F-16 Fighter Jets

Tehran, Iran: Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) on Thursday, June 11, attacked US base in Jordan that hosted American F-35, F-15 and F-16 fighter jets in response to US strikes on Iran.

IRGC said that Aerospace Force launched 12 ballistic missiles at Al-Azraq Air Base and what it described as key facilities belonging to the US military. The Iranian military confirmed the attacked destroyed facilities at the base as well as a large number of US fighter jets stationed there.

Iran has also claimed attacks on United States military bases in Bahrain, Kuwait and at least two vessels in the Strait of Hormuz in retaliation for renewed waves of US attacks on the country.

The US had claimed that it hit “military surveillance capabilities, communication systems, and air defense sites across Iran”
