Tehran, Iran: The Islamic Republic of Iran has reportedly held back from peace talks with the United States as Israel continues to attack Lebanon on Friday. The latest attack has killed over 16 people and left several others injured.

The planned talks between the US, Iran, Qatar and Pakistan have been postponed, which was expected to be held at the Burgenstock Resort in Stansstad, near Lucerne in central Switzerland, Al Jazeera reported.

Iran’s move followed reports that Iran was delaying sending its delegation to Switzerland over Israel’s ongoing military campaign in Lebanon to cement a ceasefire due to the ongoing Israeli aggression in Southern Lebanon.
