"Hate Crime": Authorities Classify San Diego Islamic Center Gunfire That Killed 5
California, United States: At least five people were killed, including suspected teenage shooters Cain Clark and Caleb Vazquez in the wake of an attack on Monday at the Islamic Center of San Diego in United State’s California. Five other people were also sustained injuries in the shooting incident.
One of the largest Islamic Centre in the US, the complex contained a Mosque, and schools, with children present. Soon after the attack, children were evacuated from the complex. The other three including one security guard was among the victims. The security guard reportedly prevented a much larger death toll.

The alleged teenage shooters were dressed in camouflage, were found in and just outside their car in a residential neighborhood a few blocks from the mosque.
The shooters died from self-inflicted wound, and their car contained anti-Islamic and racist writings. The authorities thus classified the incident a hate crime. The tragic attack took place around noon at the Islamic Center, which, the imam, described as the largest Muslim house of worship in the county.
