Online Certification Courses: IIT Kanpur Partners With Skyy Skill Academy

IITK Foundation for Advanced Consulting, Education and Training (IFACET), established by IIT Kanpur, announced the launch of online certification courses in emerging cutting-edge technologies. The course will be provided in collaboration with Skyy Skill Academy, one of the leading skill development platforms that offers various industrial courses.

The courses will include modules in Electric Vehicle Technology and Powertrain, Autonomous Vehicle and ADAS, Embedded Systems, Vehicle Design and Analysis, ANSYS, SOLIDWORKS, and other emerging technology areas that will empower learners with industry-relevant knowledge. It expects to bring its expertise in research and innovation to the partnership with Skyy Skill Academy in jointly developing high-quality educational content curated by experts in the respective fields. The online courses are expected to commence in the coming months, with registration details and course information soon to be made available on the Skyy Skill Academy and IFACET website.

IIT professor stated that partnership will help to bridge the gap between conventional curriculum and the evolving needs of sunrise sectors with industry-focused hands-on pedagogy. As per Prof. Phani, Chief Investigator, E&ICT Academy IIT Kanpur, the course fulfills the growing demand for professionals trained in technical skills such as CAD and analysis, IoT, Machine Learning, AI, Embedded systems, etc in emerging industries.

IFACET, IIT Kanpur will bring its expertise in research and innovation to the partnership with Skyy Skill Academy to jointly develop high-quality educational content curated by experts in the respective fields.

Notably, SkyySkill Academy has offered various industrial courses in association with top-notch industries like Ashok Leyland, TVS, Ultratech, Bosch Rexroth, BOSCH and leading Universities like Centurion University, CV Raman Global University. The academy was started as Sky Rider Automotive in 2015, it is rechristened and registered as SkyySkill Academy Private Limited in 2018. So far, it has trained over 1 Lakhs students in its various programs.
