“My Baski”: Allu Arjun Expresses Gratitude To Filmmaker Bhaskar On 16th Anniversary Of Parugu

Allu Arjun responded to filmmaker Baskar’s post recalling the 2008 film Parugu. Taking to his X (formerly twitter), Baskar wrote that Parugu was a true milestone. Hinting at receiving call from Allu Arjun, “the MAN himself”, filmmaker said that the actor made the day memorable. He called Allu Arjun “Bunny”, an everyone’s favourite character of Allu Arjun.

Allu Arjun responded to the post and thanked the filmmaker by calling him “My Baski”. He said he always have immense gratitude for his filmmakers in his heart.

Parugu, In The Name of Love is a 2008 released film. The film garnered great attention for its story and the chemistry between Allu Arjun’s Krishna and Sheela Kaur, who played the role Meenakshi. The film also featured Prakash Raj in the lead role.

Parugu was a box office success and earned distributors a share of Rs 20 crore. The film received great attention and was dubbed and remade into different languages. It was dubbed into Malayalam under the title Krishna and was a box office blockbuster. It was remade into Odia as Sanju Aau Sanjana, Bengali as Shedin Dekha Hoyechilo, Nepali as Dabab and Hindi as Heropanti.

Allu Arjun is gearing up for his next release, Pushpa 2: The Rule. the highly anticipated first track “Pushpa Pushpa” from the film was released today, and fans were all on about the impressive dance steps in the song. Pushpa 2: The Rule is a sequel of Pushpa: The Rise. Helmed by Sukumar, the film was released in 2021. The film brought two National Awards; Allu Arjun got the Best Actor award and musician Prasad won the best Music Direction Award.
