Former India head coach Ravi Shastri on Wednesday broke the internet with a couple of “thirst trap” pictures. In the series of pictures posted on his official social media account, Shastri can be seen posing in a deep blue bathrobe.

Shastri, who is known for his flamboyance, captioned the first picture as, “I am hottie, I am naughty, I am sixtyyyy”. He captioned his second picture as “Does this photo qualify as a thirst trap?” while the third picture, where he can be seen hiding his face with a towel, is captioned as “Your girl doesn’t need to see my face to know it”s me”.

Following his successful stint as Team India head coach, which saw the Virat Kohli-led side reach the World Test Championship final in the inaugural edition, Shastri has continued to work as a pundit and commentator. He is currently working in the same role in IPL 2024.

Shastri has never minced words when it comes to speaking about controversial topics. He recently advised Team India all-rounder Hardik Pandya to ignore the fan booing in the IPL and concentrate on the team performance.

“My thing to Hardik would be “calm, patient, ignore, and then just focus on your game”. You get a couple of performances going..they are a terrific side, and if they win 3-4 matches, everything will subside. You will, things will change,” he added.

“See, at the end of the day, this is not an Indian cricket team that is playing. This is franchise cricket. They have paid top dollar, they are the bosses. It”s their entitlement as to who they want as captain,” Shastri said.
