Fashion Influencer Surbhi Jain Dies Battling Cancer At 30

In a painful event, popular fashion influencer Surbhi Jain died from ovarian cancer. Surbhi Jain was 30 years old.  The influencer was first diagnosed with the life-threatening disease at the age of 27. She had undergone major surgeries after her diagnosis and had returned to the content creation. This was her second diagnosis leading to her death after a long battle with the cancer.

Her family shared her death news on her official social media accounts. The family said that Surbhi Jain died on April 17 and was cremated on April 10, Friday.

In her last post two months ago, the Surbhi Jain shared a glimpse from the hospital and wrote, “I know I haven’t updated you all about my health which feels wrong seeing the number of msgs I am getting about it every day. But Things haven’t been keeping too well. So there isn’t much to share. Past 2 months I have spent mostly in the hospital. There have been some complications because of which my food has also been stopped since past 1 month and I have a tube attached through my nose. So I am on continuous IV. Treatment is going on, It’s difficult and I just want all this to end.”

After her surgeries from the first diagnosis, she had said that she sustained “149 stitches and a lot of pain” “Today, I create content to keep myself busy and face each day with a smile,” she said back then.

Ovarian cancer is a type of cancer that originates in the ovaries. The disease is a major concern in women and is ranked as the third most common cancer in Indian women. It also causes more fatalities after breast and carnival cancer. It often goes undetected until it spreads across the adjacent areas.

According to a study conducted by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), ovarian cancer can be mistaken as less serious, though it progresses rapidly. A malignant growing tumour in the ovaries, the disease dismantles healthy tissues.
