Premier India fast bowler Mohammed Siraj is in the thick of things in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 for his poor run. The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), who has scaled five wickets in eight matches, has been criticized for leaking ample runs throughout the season.

RCB captain Faf du Plessis had dropped him in the match against SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) on April 15. But he returned to leak 60 runs in the next two matches against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and SRH.

Siraj is likely to feature in RCB’s next match against Gujarat Titans (GT) on Sunday. Ahead of the match, he shared a picture from his downtime which did not go well amongst the fans. “The clock stops for nobody 😉,” Siraj captioned the picture.

One of the fans reminded him about his poor run in the IPL 2024 and commented: “Batsmen are making you stop na”.

“Bhai performance thik krle warna T20 wc se bahar ho jayega 😭,” another fan said.

“Arre miya bhai aap ye krte reh jaoge Avesh khan apki jgh le lega,” a third fan said.

Siraj’s form will be taken into consideration for his selection in the 2024 T20 World Cup. The 30-year-old has featured in 95 matches in the IPL. He has scalped 88 wickets at an average of 33.01 with the best bowling figures of 4/21 and an economy rate over 8.
