Calicut: Anshad Guruvayur’s Lens To ‘Mysterious Wonders Of Aghoris’ Opens Today

An exhibition showcasing the enigmatic world of the Aghoris, captured through the lens of renowned photographer Anshad Guruvayur, opens today at the Gudhaam Art & Antique Gallery on Gujarati Street, Kozhikode. Running from 15th to 31st December 2024, the exhibition offers a rare glimpse into the secretive lives of this monastic community known for their unconventional rituals.

The inaugural ceremony, set for 5 PM today, will be officiated by Sri Jitesh, the Circle Inspector of Kozhikode Police. Adding to the event’s charm, a discussion on *Noorul Munirul Poornananda*, authored by the celebrated Nizar Lithumish, will be held, followed by a soulful ghazal evening with renowned singer Idrees Mampi.
